So sorry to hear that. I hope your symptoms aren't severe. Thanks so much for being willing to head this up. Perhaps you can run the game next month if you're feeling up to it.

Get well soon!

Hi Karl,
Would you like to try my new game, The Doomed Apocalyptic Horror Hunting? It is a quick-playing, rules-light skirmish wargame in which small warbands compete to hunt Horrors in a bleak sci-fi world and is miniature agnostic. If you don’t want to try that how about more Dragon Rampant?

I'll try the Doomed. Patrick spoke highly of it.

Would you like to write up a warband for me and I'll select figures from my collection to match? I've got tons of great post apoc figures I haven't gotten to use in a long time

Sorry I have been very incommunicado. Back from a trip and no longer slammed by work and life which has been highly crazy for the last month or so. Any chance I can join. Happy to play the Doomed... as well if there is room.

I will also likely need a ride, so if there is room in the game for me to join, can you pick me up Michael. Also, let me know if I need to bring some models and what kind, etc.

Or if there isn't room in the game, happy to come hang out, and sit and paint or build models.
Cheers, Jon

Hi Jon,
Glad to add you to the game. I can pick you up. Warbands max out at 8 miniatures although the one I put together is only 5. Any sort of post-apocalyptic figure should work. Some of the miniatures I have seen for the game tend to a sort of 40K dark ages / post-apocalyptic look. There are both close combat and ranged weapons in the game. A warband has to have one miniature as the leader and the rest are followers which as you campaign with the system can be swapped out between games with the leader staying the same. Horrors are also miniature agnostic. There are general descriptions for the horrors which you can pick out any figure you think looks most appropriate. Some horrors also have minions.

Sounds like a plan. I've got plenty of figs I can pull for whatever load out the survivors have. Michael, can you bring the horrors?

Here's the report from Pat that seems to do a pretty good job showing what the game is like.

Sounds great, I'll see what I have that's appropriate or use Karl's a models.

Michael, let me know what time you'll plan to come by for the pick up and pm if you need my address which is still the same in Riverside.
