Ok folks,
Let's discuss the 28th. Could be anything, but there was talk on Monday of sound one of the big multiplayer zombie games like we used to do. James in particular had some ideas on that. He has allot of Medieval Zombies and I and the club have a ton of modern zombies, Urban terrain and survivors. Lots of options then.
Please RSVP and discuss....

Writing rules this week.
I'm going to tweak the attached rules, as they're written for my kids who were 8-10 at the time. I made it too easy as there's a cheap exploit.
Perfer fantasy or sci-fi game?
How many characters would each person want to run?
Want to keep it OPR Skirmish or use the Quest rules tweaked for an endless zombie horde?
Could incorporate your Mordheim team in as well.

Re: Gaming on Oct 28th. Possible Zombie group game?
Hi James,
It all looks good so far.
At this point it's going to be mostly dealer's choice. With relatively short notice until the game, I think we should go with whatever genre you want and whatever rules and figure count per player you think would best suit the size of the game and the 2.5'ish hour game time.
The only things I'd say....
-In these sorts of Zombie games, more weaker zombies is almost always better than fewer tougher zombies.
-Should the number of noisy tokens and objectives be increased based on how many folks we get on the night?

1. I think the most fun would be to give people a OPR Fantasy Skirmish list. Bring your Morheim guys if you don't have a specific guy or two you'd like to run.
https://army-forge.onepagerules.com/armyBookSelection?gameSystem=5
Building Restrictions:
100 pts.
Heroes Only (no Core Units).
Units with the Fast keyword also get the NOISY token on their move. (AKA if you upgrade to a horse, you will likely be noisy.)
2. The zombies are near insta-kill, but they hit harder the more that surround you.
2b. Also, the zombies will flip their priority: they will go after a visible unit FIRST, then the noisy unit next, but will shamble around if neither are true that turn.
3. The noisy tokens were originally set for 4 units. So we might up the Noisy tokens depending on what people bring.
===
If people send me an OPR skirmish list OR just tell me what they want to run, I can print it in advance.

Hi guys,
I will be there. I think that a modern setting works best with zombies although I don’t mind using a fantasy setting.

Looks good. Let's go with this.
I'll setup a good sized town to fight through. Let me know if you have any particular requirements.

That'd work even better, as I can show off my In The Dark terrain set.
If Karl is up for it, I can easily convert the rules to a modern setting. I can use most of my zombies, and use Poxwalkers.
Here's the link for the OPR 40k / Modern army builder, same restrictions. (100 pts, Heroes Only)

So here's the rough draft of the rules, using OPR skirmish rules as a basis:
