Ok, the 26th is the first day of school and the 6th -and possibly- last session of our Mordheim Campaign.
We had planed a 6 session campaign but there does seem to be some interest in continuing. Please answer the following questions.
1. Will you be present on Monday?
2. How would you like to end or continue the campaign?
A. End the campaign completely. You want to retire your warband and move on to something else.
B. End the campaign for now, but keep your warband for future occasional campaign games.
C. Continue the campaign for a while as a once a month thing.
D. Keep the campaign going as-is for at least another month (2 sessions).
3. If this was the last session -or at least the campaign climax- is there a particular scenario you'd really like to play?
I'll hold my opinion back on 2 and 3 until others have voted. I have my preferences, but I'm very open to the will of the group.

1. Yes, I plan to be there.
2. Trying a big game might be nice. It would be better now, when people know their warband but they have not bloated beyond a manageable number of figures and special rules.
I'm good to move on to another game or continue for a couple more sessions. It would be good to keep or collect our rosters for future use.
3. I'll have to look at scenarios. We have two Chaos aligned warbands, two barbarian warbands, one undead, one Sigmar, and one Skaven right? depending on who is available, allied teams might be good.

A battle with multiple players per team is a great idea and a great way to keep the battle going.

Hi Karl,
I will be there Monday.
If people want to end the campaign I am good with that. I also wouldn’t mind continuing the campaign a while as a once a month thing. Keeping the campaign going as-is for at least another month is also cool. I definitely would like to keep my warband for future games although I would also like to start another warband at some point.
I don’t have a scenario in mind, but a large game to finish the campaign is good.
Thanks,
Michael

I've been out of town for the last 3 game nights in a row. Disappointing to miss so much of the campaign, but that's how life goes. Back and planning to be there with my warband for Monday's game.
As to the votes. For 2. My vote goes toward B. once a month for a bit or C. Set aside and pick up later. However, I am also fine to fully continue, or set aside Mordheim and this warband for a while if that is the preference.
For 3. A large multiplayer game for the finale works for me... or if we are continuing happy to do a standard 2 player.
Cheers, Jon

Ok,
Looks like there are at least 4 of us who will be present on Monday.
How do you all feel about a 2-sided, multiplayer battle?
I'm open to suggestions on scenarios. I'm at camping this weekend with minimal devices, so if anyone wants to take the lead and maybe suggest a couple options that would be great.
As for campaign continuation, it looks like you guys would like to continue in some form and I agree, but I'll let the question ride a bit longer so more can weigh in.

1. Nope. Out of town visiting sick mom.
B. End the campaign for now, but keep your warband for future occasional campaign games.
3. If this was the last session -or at least the campaign climax- is there a particular scenario you'd really like to play? I abstain because I won't be there. If I were there, it'd be a big multiplayer blowout game.

How about the Monster Hunt scenario? https://mordheimer.net/docs/campaigns/s ... -hunt-tc5/
I'll see if I can bring a monster or two.

Sorry to respond so late in the day! I plan to be there tomorrow! A group game sounds fun, though I'm aware I just upset the team balance. Perhaps we could do a 2 by 3 and give the team of two a balancing special character apiece?
For voting, I'm for 3B--"end" the campaign but play occasionally and keep our warbands around (or start new ones!). Michael and I have been doing this for Blood Bowl and I think it's a great way to play these games.
Let me know if there's anything I should bring for the table!

James, sorry you can't make it. Hope your mom improves and that we see you soon.
For everything else, that sounds good all around.
Tim, let's do that scenario. I look forward to seeing what monsters you come up with. I'll give the Monster Hunt a thorough read through and make some tweaks.
Mattias, I like the idea of the Monster holing up in a fortified estate. Would you like to bring your castle?
So, the most logical sides would be:
Karl's Norse and Tim's Middenheimers. Barbarians unite!
vs
Michael and Mattias - Posessed. Union of EVIL.
Perhaps the sisters could be on the monster's side asdefenders of a "Holy Creature" blessed by Sigmar. Maybe give them a little bonus as well as at this point Jon's forces are probably a bit behind the rest. Maybe 2 creatures? Tim do you have some non-chaos creatures?
I like the fluffy matchup of Barbarians vs chaos, vs the Holy Order, the only disadvantage to that plan is that Tim and I have 2 rather fearsome warbands. If we wanted to make it slightly more equal one option might be to put Tim and Jon on a team and I could team up with the monster.
I'm fine with whatever you all think is best.
