Saturday gaming event. Nov 2nd!

Update 9/7. It's going to be the November 2nd.

This is an idea I was planning with a member of the Bedroom Battlefields podcast Discord. Mixing that group with our club for an event.

ANNOUNCEMENT:
After much deliberation, Saturday November 2nd has been chosen for the:
Bedroom Battlefields and Chicago Skirmish Wargames Get Together.

Location: Karl's home in Chicago, 60638. Quiet neighborhood with lots of easy street parking.

The tentative Schedule is as follows.
-Doors open at 9:30 for the Morning Terrain Make and Take. Materials provided by Chicago Skirmish Wargames club.

-Lunch around 12:00 (Chicago Style Deep Dish maybe ...) paired with a mini swap meet. Bring your extras to trade and sell!

1:30 -4:30 Afternoon Grimdark Future Mega battle. Bring your own army or use one of mine. 1500 points per player.

5 PM finish.

Please let me know who might be interested in attending.
I'm entirely open to folks bringing friends.

It's also perfectly fine to attend only part of the day as your schedule allows.

Haven't nailed down items yet but it will be an all day event. Feel free to drop in or out whenever necessary.

Same goes for the rest of you. I'd rather have any of you pop in for a while rather than not set you at all.

Putting a hold on this. The fellow I was organizing it with now had a conflict. We're exploring alternate dates and will let you all know when we have some ideas.

Can't say for sure yet whether I will be able to make November 2nd--kinda depends on how we end up organizing our move. Currently I'd rate it as "not likely", but will certainly keep you posted if that changes.
