This Monday is the kickoff of the CSW Summer Mordheim Campaign.
6:30-10PM at my home near Midway.
Please knock at the side door when you arrive.
Please RSVP here if you are going attend.
Let us know also if you have terrain to bring for the campaign and what it is. If you'd like to leave said terrain at my home for the duration of the campaign feel free.
Once you finalize your starting warband, you may post it to the new Records-Only thread here:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=787
If you'd rather not post it and surprise us on the first night, that's fine too, but I will be asking everyone to post their updated warband list after each game night they participate in.
Very much looking forward to this campaign!

Hi all,
One thing I want to bring up is game size for Mordheim. In general it is a one-on-one game, but there were a number of muiti-player scenarios. I have two binders of scenarios I downloaded that showed Mordhiem and Warhammer Skirmish scenarios converted for Song of Blades and Heroes. These show which scenarios are multiplayer. I can review this for Monday if you like. For a regular Mordheim game a 4’x4’ table was recommended. You could still use this size for around four players. There were some recommendations for say 6 players to be on a 6’x4’ table. A lot depends on how many players are there for a game night. Karl I was thinking that we could divide your table, which I thought was 8’x4’, into two games. This would accommodate 6 or so players. Let me know what you think.

I'll be there, looking forward to it. I can bring some town and scatter terrain.
Michael, I believe all of those scenarios are available in their original form on Mordheimer.net along with the rules we are using. As far as multiplayer games, I think Mordheim will tend to bog down with more than about 25 figures on the table, but we could try it.

I think multiplayer scenarios will definitely be a thing in the future. At first though, I think we'd be best served with 1v1 games if possible.
I'm currently setup for a big table and card table which which together accommodates 3 games. I can add more table space if necessary, clearing the kids LEGO table.

Hi Tim,
I was just saying for our members who are not familiar with Mordheim that it is mostly for two players. I know that we have played some games where we try to get everyone in one game, but this should be the exception for Mordhiem. Years ago I tried to have a muliti-player Mordheim game at my house. I think we had about 5 or 6 warbands and we hardly even got a single round in after a couple of hours of playing.
Hi Karl,
I was thinking we could set-up 3 games if we used your leggo table, I just didn’t want you to have to clear it off.
Thanks,
Michael

Planning to be there. I will do my best to be as close to 6:30 as I can. Currently trying to workout some scheduling conflicts with the family re needing the car, so I may need to ride my bike or get a ride down.

Jon,
Would you be needing a ride from Riverside or from the Orange line train?

Re: CSW Mordheim Campaign Kickoff. Monday, June 10th 6:30PM
I'm planning to be there!
I've been playing with my terrain and have arrived at what I think is a pretty good setup for approx. 3.5 x 3.5 table worth of box buildings, stairs, ramps, ladders, and a couple items of scatter terrain. I even threw together another batch of stair stackers this week to bulk it out.
I'll endeavor to be there promptly at 6:30 to get it set up. I've mapped the layout so I can set it up quickly.
To complete it, I would need some kind of cobblestone/grey battlemat (I could use my grass mat if necessary, but it's a bit lush for a setting like Mordheim) and a bunch of small scatter terrain (barrels, crates, barricades, fences, and the like).
Pictures of the setup below
