Charlie,
Nice work on those. The warband looks great!

James,
Sorry to hear, hope to see you there.

Just finished painting last night. Looking forward to this.

Hey guys,
Trying to catch-up on standings for 2nd and 3rd night.

So far for night 2 I have .
-Mattias beat Charlie
-Karl beat James
-What was the other game result?

For third night I have
-Michael beat Karl and Charlie
-Tim beat James
Is that right?

Was thinking about something we could do to give the players in the back of the pack something fun to do to catch up a bit. Maybe a Caravan Raid scenario something along the lines of this?

There is a Caravan warband for Mordheim and I've still got all the figures....

I have submitted night 2 battle report for publication. I'm working on the Third Game now from July 8th
I've got a good narrative and pictures from Mike for the battle between him and Charlie and I.

Can I get some pics at perhaps a brief paragraph about the battle between James and Tim?

Thanks,
Karl

I went ahead and submitted the Night 3, July 8th game for publication, but it's not up yet. If anyone has anymore pics or stories from that, today is probably the last day to add them.

I'm going to put together the Night 4 July 22nd report this weekend. Please post any pics and stories you have from Night 4 and 5 here:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=787&start=10

So far I've got pics from Michael for night 4. Don't anyone feel that they have to do a massive battle report (though I do love them). If all you can put up is pics, results and a paragraph about the battle, that's ok too. I'll take whatever I can get.

Just wanted to note that after getting folks' feedback on the last game night thread and discussion on the day, it looks like the best solution for the Campaign is to shift to once a month Mordheim for those who are interested in continuing. This will most likely be the second meeting of the month.

Those who are sick of Mordheim should feel welcome to attend and play something else or just hang.

Also, for those wishing to play Mordheim but who feel their warband's have underperformed, I would suggest some mechanism for allowing them to start a new warband while retaining a portion of the experience they have acrued.

Are there any folks in this position who would be interested?

Anyone have any suggestions or opinions about how this might be handled?

Hi Karl,
I think my warband is doing fine. I only won one game, but it has developed nicely and I hope to do better with it. I would like to try other warbands. Mattias and I have two teams each in our informal Blood Bowl league which would allow us to switch them out when we want too. Both Blood Bowl and Mordhiem have rules for two players with different level teams / warbands to play each other. Because of that I do not feel the need to try to keep my experience level, but change for another warband. If the group wants to create a system to do this I am fine with that.
Thanks,
Michael

I agree with Michael that the campaign rules actually do a good job of allowing for this already using the underdog experience bonus:https://mordheimer.net/docs/campaigns/experience#underdogs

The experience bonus allows new warbands to skill up VERY quickly against more experienced foes. IMO, this is sufficient.

I plan to continue participating occasionally, but definitely want to try bringing different warbands as well as my (pretty well-developed) Possessed band.
